A color postcard of the post office in El Paso. The front caption on the top right reads: “U. S. Post Office, El Paso, Texas. Recently completed, built entirely of marble.” The postcard was postmarked El Paso, Tex Jan 1, 19?? 12 PM and was sent by Ethel to Mr & Mrs. C. J. Beezley Bisbee Arizona. The message on the back in ink reads: “Arrived O. K. and having a very pleasant visit. Bisbee does sure seem dead to El Paso but there is much more traffic here. How are the kiddos? Fine I hope. Ethel". The postcard was published by Curt Teich Photochrom, Chicago, Illinois and was sent with a green, one-cent George Washington stamp. Calvin Cain Collection.
