A color postcard A color view of Great Falls, Montana showing a busy downtown section of the city with trolleys and vendors on the street. The front caption on the top left reads: “Looking West on Central Avenue, Great Falls, Mont.” The back caption on the top left reads: “The "Cascade City" on the upper Missouri. Population 35,000. Seat of Cascade County. Head of Navigation on the Missouri River. Has unsurpassed natural resources of all kinds.” The postcard was postmarked Butte, Mont October 1, 1918 4:30 PM and was sent by Pansy to Mrs. Katie Beezley Bisbee, Ariz Box 2021. The message on the back in blue ink reads: "Add. 510 1/2 W. galena. There was trouble here but is settled now. We are well. Jinks was in Great Falls to see Anna & Ed. They are well. Have 2 girls now. why don’t you write. Pansy." The postcard was published by the Chas. E. Morris Company, Great Falls, Montana and was sent with a red, two-cent George Washington stamp.
