A black and white photo postcard of the dead after a battle being put into a pit during the Mexican Revolution. The front caption at the bottom left reads: "Grave for 63 men after the big battle." Men are starting to shovel dirt over the bodies. There is a horse and buggy in the background. The photo was taken by W.H. Horne. Note: Walter H. Horne (1883-1921) was a Texas photographer (arrived in El Paso in 1910) who operated a company called the Mexican War Photo Postcard Company. His photo postcards were bought and traded by soldiers and the public. The postcard is unused.
