A color postcard that shows the grave of John Heath in Boothill graveyard. The Bisbee Massacre took place December 8, 1883. The back caption on the top left reads: “JOHN HEATH GRAVE Boothill Graveyard Tombstone, Arizona -- Taken from Tombstone county jail and lynched on Feb. 55, 1884 by an angry mob of Bisbee people for his leadership of five other men who killed several people in a robbery. The five other men were all found guilty and legally hanged.” The postcard is unused and was published by Petley Studios 4051 E. Van Buren, Phoenix, Arizona as part of the Plastichrome series.
