No mail today C.A.B.” This postcard Mr. Beasecker made of himself, in revenge to his fiancée (Mamie H. Roy) for not writing to him. We do not have the original. Willard Holl Collection.
Clarence August Beasecker was born on March 8th 1879, his parents were Lucinda Hossler (Dec 1859 – Aug 16th 1925 in Stark, Ohio) and Hiram H. Beasecker (1848-1927). His one sibling was his sister Effie Belle Beasecker. He attended school at District no. 9 in the Springfield township where he maintained good attendance. Clarence Beasecker married Maime H. Roy (1890-1956) and they had one daughter Mary Blamey Beasecker (October 9th 1912- June 1st 1978 Canton Stark Ohio). He was engaged in real estate and was selling lots in Eastview Ohio in September and October of 1916. Clarence would often visit his friends Mr and Mrs RJ Manson in Akron Ohio. He passed away at the age of 44 on Nov 3, 1923 in Stark, Ohio.
