The two ships planned to meet up again, but the Ramona became shipwrecked. This image is among a collection of images that document the 1915 Calumet and Arizona Mining Company expedition for John Greenway to acquire phosphate rock for the mining company in Mexico aboard the ship Ramona. The Ramona was involved in a shipwreck off of the coast of Mexico.
