Photo taken from Naco Road in 1943. The image shows the railroad tracks and the homes sitting on Chihuahua Hill. These homes have since been removed for the development of the Lavender Pit. In the lower center part of the image is a rock. This was known as the iron monster. The foundation of the water tank is still intact as of 2009.
