Dr. Katie Benton-Cohen is an Arizona native and teaches history at Georgetown University. She is the author of two books, including “Borderline Americans: Racial Division and Labor War in the Arizona Borderlands,” which is a history of Cochise County. She was also the historical adviser for the film “Bisbee’17.” She lived in Bisbee in 2024 with her family, working on her current book on Phelps Dodge, and in this talk, she will give an update on her research.
