A black and white photo postcard circa May 10th, 1906 of three boys holding tools in front of an ornate snow fort shaped like a cathedral. A sign above the door reads Hiver 1906 or Winter 1906. The tri color French flag can be seen on the top with a snow rooster. The front caption at the bottom left in French reads: “La Chaux de Fonds Eglise de Neige et ses trois constructeurs” which roughly translates to “La Chaux de Fonds Church of Snow and its three builders”. The bottom right caption reads: “No. 261 A. Schonbucher depose”. The message on the back in ink was written in French and needs to be translated. The postcard was mailed to Naco, and the publisher is unknown. Fred Valenzuela Collection.
