The front caption on the top left reads: “Ruins of Old Casa Grande, Tucson, Ariz.—1” The postcard was postmarked Tucson, Arizona September 16, 1933. 1:30 PM and was sent by W.M.P. to Carl Trischka, Bisbee Arizona. The message typed on the back reads: “Dear Friend Carl and Family. Just a word to let you know that I am still on earth. Am located in Tucson for a time at least, Have been in the new river country and viewed some fine ruins, Also made sone nice finds 10 miles south of Tucson. I often wonder what has been done with your writeup, Saw in the paper where Jack had moved to Tucson, Congratulations on the Boys good work, I wish him luck. Will be seeing you some day; Best wishes to all. W. P. M.” The postcard was sent with a green one cent Benjamin Franklin stamp.
