Ink (coach) Mr. Ink was the first male principal of BHS. He succeeded Miss Kathryn, also found to be spelled Katherine, Riley who was the high school principal for the years of 1906 - 1908. The high school was in the Central School building which was built during the early part of 1906. The gymnasium was the gym in the YMCA building, where all the basketball games were held. All commencement exercises were held in the old Opera House, located below the junction of Temby Avenue and Opera Drive.
